| There are two Li Bai statuettes in Shiwan Pottery, both are in white glaze. This statuette is based on very fine white earth and carved with beautiful sparkling pattern, the final effect symbolizing white and purity. One of the pocketsize statuettes in Museum's collection, this artifact is neat, delicate, and vivid; it is more powerful than many large-scale artifacts. Li Bai is drunk and dreaming; his smile, his posture of sleeping, and the wine jar are all efficiently represented. |
